The SEF Diagram - the “Pizza”
The School Effectiveness Framework is underpinned by five core themes that run through all aspects of our work and culture.
The SEF also sets out the six essential elements that contribute to developing effective schools. These elements need to be addressed at the same time and in a way that means they will support each other.
You can find these themes and elements in the SEF diagram on page 9 of the red book, and they are explained on pages 11-22.
