In Wales, we want to give the best possible start in life to all of our children and young people. This means providing them with a first class education system that enables them to reach their full potential. We aim to secure the best learning outcomes for all of our children and young people. We must also do all that we can to ensure their wellbeing.
The School Effectiveness Framework (SEF) shows our commitment to do just that. The SEF will coordinate all of the good work that is already being carried out in order to improve learning and wellbeing for all of our school aged children and young people in Wales. It will also make sure that all of our future policies are properly joined up.
